Julie Mocabee
CO-FOUNDER AND CO-OWNER
"Coach Julie" is the nickname I have given Julie. By day she is a Lead Lifeguard and keeps others safe while coaching the other lifeguards at her pool. At Olive&Fig she is the passion and creativity that keeps us going. With her southern belle etiquette, she is constantly creating beautiful boards and helping coordinate events to perfection. If Julie is not lifeguarding or building charcuterie boards you can find her outside. She loves adventure and being out in the sun exploring the world with her husband. I know I can always call Julie for a run and coffee where I throw out crazy business ideas and she instantly begins coaching me through the process.

Sharon Williams
CO-FOUNDER AND CO-OWNER
Teacher, entrepreneur, and game-night aficionado. During the school year she’s known as “Mrs. Williams, the music teacher”, but here at Olive&Fig, she’s the brains and beauty behind our operations. Problem-solving is her bread and butter and no problem is too great. Hard work calls for good fun, and Sharon’s home is always full of friends whom she loves like family. On quiet evenings, she’s cuddled up with her dog and husband for movie night. On sunny mornings Sharon and I discuss business ideas as we jog around different parks in Manhattan. Compassionate and goal-oriented, she’s the best problem solver I’ve ever met.

Olive&Fig's Story
I (Sharon) was in the car driving to Dodge, KS with my good friend Kathryn. She asked if I would make a charcuterie board for her wedding. At that moment the idea of a charcuterie business became a dream. The next day I called Julie and pitched the idea of running a charcuterie business together! I knew Julie had an eye for design and a mind for business. Julie was instantly all in and we started planning. We spent a few months creating some boards and baking under the radar and dreaming up our business with mentors in our life. We knew we wanted our business model to be centered around celebrating others. In May 2022, we created the board for Kathryn and Mitchel's wedding. The reaction to our charcuterie board was overwhelming and people asked if we could make boards for their events. We knew this was the moment we had been waiting for. In June 2022 we opened Olive&Fig up for inquiries and have been creating and celebrating since then!
